It's a casual cocktail evening, where we will announce the recipients of our 2009 granting cycle from The Sisters' Charity Grant Fund. With your help, we have managed to raise over $20,000.00 which ALL goes back to community organizations.
The night will also start the seeding of the 2010 fundraising year, and what better way than with a brand new, specially-created, cocktail named (what else?) "The Money Shot". It's another fun night with your favorite Sisters!
The Sisters are taking over the stage for a night of so-bad-it's-good cinema with live comedy commentary. It's SINFUL SISTER CINEMA, a night that not only promises to be hi-freaking-larious, but will also help raise funds to support Queer Youth Space.
Prepare yourself for the 1938 "educational" film SEX MADNESS. The makers of Reefer Madness are back to take a look at nasty, dirty, scary sex(!!), including cautionary tales about wild parties, sex out of wedlock, and *gasp!* lesbianism. But all the prudish naysaying is a ruse -- 'cause this cheap exploitation film really just wants to show and talk about s-e-x acts in the midst of the ultra-restrictive Hays Code. Not that that improves the acting or the dialogue or the filmmaking.
